Kindergarten Homework Instructions
** Required • Optional
Monday:
** Complete the Monday box on the purple paper. (Have a parent check and sign it.)
** Show last week’s corrected homework to your parents.
** Prep this week’s game (white papers)
Tuesday:
** Complete the Tuesday box on the purple paper. (Have a parent check and sign it.)
** Complete one math Homework page. (Have a parent check & sign it.)
** Read a book of your choice. Ex: library, Red Book Bag book (starts October), etc. (Have a parent initial the Reading Log on the purple paper.)
** Play this week’s game (white papers)
• Choose one Pre-reading activity from the pink Red Book Bag instruction sheet.
Wednesday:
** Complete the Wednesday box on the purple paper. (Have a parent check and sign it.)
** Complete one math Homework page. (Have a parent check & sign it.)
** Read a book of your choice. Ex: library, Red Book Bag book (starts October), etc. (Have a parent initial the Reading Log on the purple paper.)
** Play this week’s game (white papers)
• Choose one Search and Find activity from the pink Red Book Bag instruction sheet.
Thursday:
** Complete the Thursday box on the purple paper. (Have a parent check and sign it.)
** Complete one math Homework page. (Have a parent check & sign it.)
** Read a book of your choice. Ex: library, Red Book Bag book (starts October), etc. (Have a parent initial the Reading Log on the purple paper.)
** Play this week’s game (white papers)
• Discuss the characters, setting, & key events from the Red Book Bag book.
Friday:
** Complete the front page of this week’s homework on purple paper. On the back write the title of the story you chose to draw about and a sentence about your favorite part.
** Complete one math Homework page (if there is one). (Have a parent check & sign it.)
• Read a book of your choice. Ex: library, Red Book Bag book (starts October), etc.
• Play this week’s game (white papers)
Saturday and Sunday:
** Return the completed math & purple homework papers in the Homework Folder on Mon.
** Keep the white game at home.
** Return the Red Book Bag on Monday.
